Our clients, peers, partners, and the public judge everything we say and do whether we like it or not.

Prepare to cut yourself some SLAC, take a smoke break, be BAD at the office, jump out of a plane, party like a rock star, use passion and date…
After getting a BS in Business, I began in distribution and supply chain leadership and management, moving up and around the country. I became a division Vice President in one of the fastest growing national companies at the time at age of 27. With both field and corporate management and leadership experience, I completed an Executive MBA at the University of Denver. I left large business to pursue greener pastures (or so I thought) in smaller companies to increase my general management and sales experience. I have started and continue to run two small businesses, Quad J Farms and Steve Johnson Photography.
My business is general portraiture, headshots and a limited number of weddings/special events, and corporate work, but I love when I am in the rodeo arena with bulls, broncs and my camera. I have earned my Master Photographer and Photographic Crafstman Degrees and CPP (Certified Professional Photographer) through PPA, I am an award winner, and internationally published, and actively involved with both PPA (Professional Photographers of America, and VPPA (Virginia Professional Photographers) where I am an elected councilor for PPA, and Board member and Marketing Director for VPPA.
I am passionate about helping people with depression and emotional challenges and feeding the hungry. I love time with my wife and daughters, and I also almost never turn down a chance to travel, photograph steam trains, or ride my bike.
